Using a tablet PC, iPad, or kiosk, patients can now directly and securely enter data into the online database, WebScore. Available for the BASIS-24® and the Perceptions of Care surveys, this data entry method allows clinicians to produce real-time reports on individual patients and units. This convenient and portable method of data entry reduces the burden of staff entering patient data. Additionally, patient direct entry results in more complete surveys because the system monitors if questions have been left blank and prompts the respondent to return and complete missing questions. As seen in the screenshot below, the surveys have been optimized for tablets.
