In October 2012 eBASIS users, clinicians, and program directors from across the country, representing 21 health care organizations, joined the eBASIS team at McLean Hospital for two days filled with consulting sessions and presentations focused on sharing knowledge and best practices. The first day of the conference was dedicated to group and individual consulting sessions. Seven participants attended sessions focused on the BASIS-24® and Perceptions of Care (POC) tools, as well as the HBIPS (Hospital-Based Inpatient Psychiatric Services) measure set. On second day of the conference, the group ballooned to 40 attendees who engaged in lively discussions and heard presentations by Susan Eisen, PhD, eBASIS users, the eBASIS team, and key McLean Hospital/Partners HealthCare System staff.
